Two serrated aluminium jaws that squeeze a blank from the side and stay under the stock surface, so the whole top face is free for facing, V-carving and laser work.
LUNYEE's tiger claw clamp is a side clamp: it pushes against the edge of the stock instead of pressing down on the top. Each one is a 55 × 22 × 19 mm block of machined 6063 aluminium with an anodized skin and a serrated face that bites into the material. At 19 mm tall it sits lower than most blanks you would put on a 3018, so the bit and the collet nut pass over it.
That low height is the reason to own a pair. A top clamp puts an arm and a knob over the workpiece, and every toolpath has to steer around it. Side clamps leave the whole top face open, which is what these jobs want:
The claw teeth earn their keep on smooth stock. Acrylic, HDPE and anodized plate slide out from a flat jaw once the cutter loads them sideways. A toothed face digs in a fraction and resists that push.
Clamps come straight after a Z probe in the order of 3018 upgrades, because a part that shifts ruins the cut no matter how stiff the frame is.

Mounting uses two fasteners. An M6 bolt and T-nut lock the clamp body to the table, and an M4 screw drives the claw jaw against the stock once everything is in position.
The M6 bolt rides in a slide slot in the body, so the clamp can sit a few millimetres off the work before the final squeeze. The sequence on a T-slot bed:
Perforated tables work too, with a caveat LUNYEE states itself. Hole spacing differs between tables, so the slot may not line up with a hole exactly where your stock sits.

LUNYEE names its own Pro Max and 3018 Pro Ultra as the targets. Any 3018 bed that takes M6 hardware in a slot or a threaded hole can carry them, including a Genmitsu aluminium bed with T-nuts of the right width.
The claw face decides how well each material stays put. Hard, clean-edged stock takes the teeth well; soft or crumbly edges need a lighter hand and a little planning.
Stock height matters as much as material. At 19 mm tall, a claw stays below any blank thicker than that, so the cutter never routes around it. On thinner stock the clamp stands proud of the top face, and toolpaths near that edge need a margin.
Sheet that bows in the middle is a different problem. Side clamps hold the edges flat but not the centre, so thin plywood and acrylic sheet often do better on tape or a vacuum table. The 3018 laser setups use the same low clamps to keep the beam path clear.
The LUNYEE pack holds two clamps and weighs 4.8 ounces all told. Two is enough to push a part against a fixed stop, and it is the minimum for a square blank.

A pair also makes a good second set on a machine that already has hold-downs. The hold-downs pin a thick block for roughing, and the claws take over for the finishing and engraving passes where a knob in the way would cost you the edge detail.
